Narcissus would live a long life as long as 'he never knows himself. 
He was suited by many who saw his beauty but rejected all leaving them in heartbreak. In a forest’s pond he discovered his reflection, fell in love and was unable to leave the pool. 
His after starving to death this body was transformed into white and gold flowers.
