Man of Clay

Prometheus and Epimetheus were given the task of creating the creatures of the earth. Prometheus created the bodies from clay while Epimetheus gave animals qualities, such as swiftness, cunning, strength, fur, wings and claws. 
Unfortunately, by the time he got to man was none but nails and a bit of hair left. So Prometheus decided to make man stand upright as the gods did, and gave them intellect & fire.
