Mosaics

Marios has been involved in wildlife care on a daily basis since 1990 and in 1995.

He founded "Alkyoni" Aegean Wildlife Hospital in Paros, which is the largest wildlife hospital in Greece and the only one with an official license. A percentage of profit from his art is donated to the hospital.

Drawing inspiration from the ancient mosaic found in his neighborhood in Paros, he decided in 2013 to create this type of art.

The dimensions of his work follows the mathematical rules of the golden ratio. He hand cuts each piece of marble for his mosaics and places the details with a stereo microscope. This art work can last for thousands of years.
